  • A: Of course, this online store is an extension of Just Stainless.

  • Q: I had a trade/credit account with Just Stainless, can I have one here?
  • A: Please contact our sales team to inquire about your eligibility to have a trade or credit account.

  • Q: Can I get a quotation from you?
  • A: Yes, please either email or call us, you can find our details on the Contact Page

  • Q: I have a quotation from you, how do I order these parts?
  • A: Please either email or call us with your quote number, you can find our details on the Contact Page

  • Q: Can I place an order over the Telephone?
  • A: Yes, but you may not be able to track your order online and it also may not show up in your online account

  • Q: Can I place an order by E-Mail?
  • A: Yes, but you may not be able to track your order online and it also may not show up in your online account

Payment Methods

  • Q: What payment methods do you offer?
  • A: We offer both card payments using our payment processor Stripe and also PayPal

  • Q: What cards do you accept?
  • A: Through Stripe we accept: Visa Debit, Visa Credit, MasterCard and American Express.

  • Q: Is it safe to put my card details into your website?
  • A: Absolutely! We don't save or store ANY of your card details on our servers.
    The checkout form you use to fill in your card details is hosted on Stripes domain so your details never touch our servers.
    We also always have a valid SSL certificate and ensure that our customers can only check out using the secure HTTPS protocol.

    From Stripe's security documents: All card numbers are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. None of Stripe’s internal servers and daemons can obtain plaintext card numbers but can request that cards are sent to a service provider on a static allowlist. Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in a separate hosting environment, and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services

  • Q: Can I pay over the phone?
  • A: We are able to take card payments over the phone.
    However, we are unable to accept American Express with phone payments. Please call us on 0117 937 2846.

  • Q: Can I pay when I collect my order?
  • A: Yes! You can pay using your card in our showroom.
    However, we are unable to accept American Express with collection payments.

  • Q: Can I transfer you money using Bank Transfer?
  • A: You are able to use Bank Transfer using the details below.

  • Q: How long does a PayPal refund take?
  • A: PayPal refunds are instant and should show in your account straight away.

  • Q: How long does a Stripe refund take?
  • A: Depending on the bank's processing time, it can take anywhere from 5-10 business days to show up in your bank account.

Materials and Grades

  • Q: What is 304 grade?
  • A: Grade 304 is the most common type of stainless steel on our website. For the most part it is cheaper that 316 stainless steel due to it's lower chloride corrosion resistance.

  • Q: What is 303 grade?
  • A: Grade 303 very similar to 304 grade stainless steel, it contains more sulfur which improves machining and also improves its corrosion resistance slightly. Please note that 303 grade Stainless Steel is not recommended for marine environments.

  • Q: What is 316 grade?
  • A: Grade 316 (A4) is also known as marine grade stainless steel due to its increased resistance to chloride corrosion compared to type 304

  • Q: What is 201 grade?
  • A: Grade 201 Stainless Steel has a lower density than 304 grade stainless but has similar bending and forming characteristics as 304 grade.

  • Q: Is 316 and A4 grade the same?
  • A: Yes, they both have the same chemical composition.

  • Q: Is 304 and A2 grade the same?
  • A: Yes, they both have the same chemical composition. 304 is not the same as "A2 Tool Steel"

  • Q: When should I use 304 grade?
  • A: 304 stainless steel is used for a variety of household and industrial applications such as screws, machinery parts, car headers, and food-handling equipment. 304 stainless steel is also used in the architectural field for exterior accents such as water and fire features.

  • Q: When should I use 316 grade?
  • A: 316 stainless steel should be used when needed closer to the coast or in high chloride (salty) environments

  • Q: What do the grades mean on your hinges?

  • Q: What is DPBW or DSW on your hinges?
  • A: DPBW is Double Phosphor Bronze Washers. DSW is Double Steel Washer.

  • Q: Can you supply a VAT invoice?
  • A: If you've placed an order with us you would've received a VAT invoice by email, if you need another copy please contact our sales team

  • Q: Can you supply a certificate of conformity?
  • A: We may be able to supply a certificate of conformity for some products. Please contact sales for more details.

  • Q: Can you supply a test certificate?
  • A: We may be able to supply a test certificate for some products. We don't test our products but if this is required me may be able to. Please contact us for more details.

  • Q: Do you have a paper brochure?
  • A: We don't, due to the ever changing nature of our website we don't make brochures as they would go out of date very quickly. The website is the best brochure we can supply.

  • Q: Can you supply a tracking number for my order?
  • A: If available we add the tracking details to the shipping notification, please refer to the Shipping & Deliveries page for more details

  • Q: Can you supply proof of delivery for my order?
  • A: In some cases we are able to, please refer to the Shipping & Deliveries page for more details
